TLP was aiming to hold a gathering at Liaquat Bagh since last month but the government asked it to move the venue to Parade Ground Islamabad maintaining that gatherings in Liaquat Bagh were banned. On moving venue to Parade Ground, capital city authorities asked TLP to move the date on the grounds that 13th of August was falling in Muharram and they were unable to provide enough security and thus NOC to the party for the event. Last week, TLP announced to delay Parade Ground gathering on government's recommendations. But later the government issued the NOC to ex-ruling party (PTI) exactly for 13th August. "Our workers are badly affected by these dual standards. And now TLP will organize Nazria-e-Pakistan Conference at Faizababd interchange at any price," said TLP leader Peer Syed Inayat ul Haq Shah.
